The first in Charlie Farley's Magical Adventures will be out in early Autumn; 'Courage in Brabbiton Woods'.
Themes continue to raise children's self esteem, and equip them for life as loveable Charlie Farley has adventures in a magical setting for this series
Illustrations will be stunning by Monika as usual, and Boz's expertise at producing a quality book. 😍

‘Maybe I can’ said Charley
Farley!
…is now published and available for sale on this website along with the other five stories in the series. The theme helps children who say ‘I can’t’ to follow Charlie’s example and begin to see what is possible and to know ‘I CAN’. As always Monika Dzikowicz’s illustrations are stunning with vivid colours and Andy Smithyman at Boz Publications has done a fabulous job putting the book together. I am thrilled with the result and it has exceeded all my expectations for a fitting end to the series.
Excited to read stories at The Deepings Storyfest
Come and see if you’re in the area with children!

We had a great end to the year, approaching our 1000th sale since April ‘22 and a great response to the Christmas Charlie Farley story, such that we had to get a re-print very quickly to keep up with demand.
Thank you to all of you who have bought books, supported and encouraged me, organised school visits and have just bought into the whole Charlie Farley Journey! The 6th and final story in this series is underway and should be out in May ‘23! It’s time to try my hand at writing something a little different but with the same quality and impact on children’s lives.

Storytime at Banstead Library
Again I read a couple of Charlie Farley stories together with the children that came and we watched a video of the real Charlie and Jasper which they loved!
Had a wonderful week of Author visits last week!
2nd Peterborough (Werrington Church) Brownies
Lovely time with lots of engagement from the Brownies as I talked about being an Author and showed them the process of writing my stories, read my stories and doing Activities together related to the theme.
William Law CofE Primary School, Peterborough
Wonderful day with Reception, Y1 and Y2. Seven sessions of reading stories, completing relevant activities to the theme of the book read and lots of questions for me about being an author. I think they actually loved the short video of the real Charlie Farley and Jasper best as it helped the stories come alive!
Parkside Preparatory School, Cobham
Very special day at Parkside in Pre-prep taking sessions with EYFS, Y1 and Y2. This class did role play with the Jasper and Charlie Farley masks thinking through how to be a good friend to each other after reading ‘You Can’t Play Charlie Farley!’ Again the children engaged and gave me a delightful time as we talked about how I was the author and the process of producing a story book. We encouraged them to follow their dreams as I had done!
Parkside Christmas Extravaganza!
It was a warm, sunny day with beautiful Autumn backdrop. What a successful day! Sold lots of books with the help of family who were there. The Christmas Charlie Farley story is very popular!
More visits this week…
This week I am looking forward to signing and selling books at Moor Farm Christmas Open Evening on Friday from 6-8pm and then visiting Ewell Library (11am) and Banstead Library (2pm) on Saturday to read my stories and do activities with those who come along.
New Christmas story out on Oct 15th!!! Pre-order yours!
The illustrations in this story are incredible; they really bring the text I’ve written to life. A wonderful Christmassy feel to the book! Well done Monika Dzikowicz and Boz Publications! Thank you for supporting me with this wonderful book!
Wonderful visit to RKS!
Such a lovely day at The Royal Kent School on Tuesday
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Charlie Farley stories to classes at RKS in Oxshott and then talking through the themes and doing an activity or two about them. A little girl in Butterflies acted a superb Charlie Farley character to answer questions from her classmates in a hot seating activity. I loved how the school had prepared the children and parents for my visit so they could make the most of it whilst I was there. I was impressed!
Looking forward to visitingThe Royal Kent School Oxshott
I am SO looking forward to sharing my stories with EYFS and KS1 at The Royal Kent School, Oxshott on Tuesday this week. I love being back in school and working with children, it's the teacher in me I think! and even more rewarding is seeing how they respond to the Charlie Farley stories. My vision is to raise the children's self esteem and help them to face life positively and confidently equipping them for situations they will face.
If you're a parent or staff at The Royal Kent School, Oxshott do have a look at the stories I’ve had published on this website so you can talk about them with your children.
Recent visit to St Andrew’s Cobham, my old school!
I took an assembly with KS1 and Reception children
The children were treated to a reading of ‘Don’t be scared Charlie Farley!’. Thrilled with a really good response from the children. It was great to be back in the school where my passion for raising children’s passion had been the inspiration for the themes for my Charlie Farley stories!!
It’s here!! My 4th story published!
It’s Okay To Feel Sad Charlie Farley!
Amazing response by Hospices, charities and professionals who will use and recommend it to their patients, customers and members.
Also City Hospice, Cardiff have ordered 10 with the resource pack!!
Thank you!!
It’s okay to feel sad Charlie Farley! is at the printers!!!
This story is slightly different; it introduces the concept of death and loss to children in a way that they can understand and supports them with ideas of how to deal with the loss of a loved one, both human and pet.
It is not designed to have all the answers but to be a springboard to initiate conversation on what is often a taboo subject in our society but if used sensitively and carefully it can prepare children for this event in their lives whenever that may be or can help them to move forward and deal with their grief if it has already happened. My vision is that this story will help adults to prepare and support children to face this difficult topic rather than it being ignored and causing greater trauma later on in their lives.
Please consider buying this book as an investment into the future of children you know; helping them to face death and process grief in a healthy way ensuring that they feel safe and secure to talk ‘stuff’ through and know that ‘It’s okay to feel sad!’
If you know of a professional or charity that could use this story please do share my website and details of where to buy the story with them.
237 books sold since 7th March!!
I am SO pleased with the response to my third book, not only that many people have bought all three to give as presents for Birthdays, Easter, Christenings having bought the books for their children or grandchildren but that the books were SO well received in the school visits that I’ve done.
As you know I’m passionate that children face life confidently and positively and know how to handle situations that arise, so I’m grateful that the reach of Charlie Farley and Jasper stories is widening as my lovely customers tell their friends and family. ‘Oh No Charlie Farley!’ has even been aired on an ASMR Youtube channel of a friend of mine. You may like to visit it! It’s relaxing to listen to and quality stuff! https://youtu.be/p8eEwOb7JiY
It’s here! You can’t play Charlie Farley!
Children learn through this theme that they don’t have to ‘fit in’ to have good friends! They can be themselves and make friends, maybe with others who don’t fit! Such a valuable lesson for them, I know as I had to learn it when I was growing up!
