My little boy absolutely loves the Charlie Farley books!

We received three of them as a gift and they are his go to books at bedtime. His eyes light up when I say ‘shall we read Charlie Farley’.

The stories are really great and I know as he gets a bit older he will continue to enjoy them. The illustrations are fantastic too, lots of colours and things for my son to enjoy.

I’ve just ordered the other two books for Christmas which I know he is going to love.

As a mother and a teacher ‘You Can’t Play Charlie Farley!’ is a great way to show kids how important it is to accept people for their differences. It teaches nobody is perfect even if they fit the ideal image, looks do not matter and what’s in people’s hearts makes them beautiful.I loved this book!

A beautiful, meaningful story for children

I have purchased all four books and have found them absolutely brilliant. Easy to read, easy to understand, a great opening for further discussion. Beautifully illustrated. Relatable, fun and engaging. It's everything one would look for in a book to introduce relevant, heartfelt topics to their children.

Another beautiful story about ‘fitting in’

Once again, Elaine gives us a gorgeous story about Charley Farley who doesn’t quite fit the mould with his peers. How many times do children get told they can’t play by other children? This story encourages them to be proud of their unique parts and reminds them that they don’t have to change to fit in with the crowd.
Perfect for any professionals working with children needing emotional literacy support.

Senesitively written about a painful topic

IBeautifully illustrated and sensitively written about a difficult topic - not fitting in and feeling rejected by peers. Very relevant for even slightly older children experiencing friendship issues.
