‘Don’t be scared Charley Farley’, is an excellent children’s book with wonderful, expressive illustrations. Finding courage in difficult situations is important for adults and children alike. As such the book is challenging for all. The drawing activity and the ideas to encourage discussion at the back are very good too. I recommend this book to buy.

‘Don’t be scared Charlie Farley’ is a great book that my daughter absolutely loves. She was cheering for Charlie Farley all the way through. Charlie Farley teaches the kids in a fun way to know that it’s okay to be afraid and when the time is right they will be able to be brave. Bravery is within all of us.

Wonderful children’s story book

Another wonderful book by Elaine Slade. Charlie Farley is again helping children to face their fears. The illustrations are fabulous and the activities such fun. I would thoroughly recommend. Can’t wait to find out why he gets up to next.

Another beautiful book looking at bravery.

I was so excited to be able to buy Elaine’s second book about Charley Farley. This one looks at finding courage when you’re scared. The stunning illustrations support the fantastic rhyming storytelling. Another message that our children need to hear and embrace.
These stories are perfect for Primary School age children and should be a staple part of all Emotional Wellbeing teaching or interventions.

Lovely children’s book about facing your fears

I bought both the Charley Farley books for my dog living great nephews for Christmas. The rhyming text makes them really suitable for reading out loud at bedtime. Firm favourites.

Beautiful Story

I hope I can make you smile. We loved the story. I read it twice and on the second read we made all the sound effects and actions and joined in with the catch phrase.

Highly recommended

This is another delightful story of Charley Farley the dog who is scared of fireworks. I read this with my grandson who thoroughly enjoyed it.
